I did it again. Well, I didn't. Lola did. She found another great YouTube Guru. And watched I don't know how many of her videos. Then she told me about Onna. I watched a couple, then they were no more! Although, xXxOnnaxXx did recently delete all her videos. She is now posting new ones. I can appreciate the need to clean out the old and start fresh. Believe me. I'm working on that! Here is a quick hair tutorial...

I really like this look! Heck, I can go out on a limb and say it, I LOVE this look! Manders recently did something like this for Lola. They working a photo shoot, for an upcoming gig in NC. Was totally hot and rocking! But I had no idea that I could pull it off. Until now! I found Onna's channel.

Glintzy Sigma Brush Giveaway

So you know me. I am all into YouTube. I watch videos all the time! Well, when I am not working. But you know what I mean. I am a YouTube addict!

I can barely move because we have been rehearsing like crazy. Every single muscle in my body hurts! And badly. When I am not at rehearsal, I am dying in bed. With my laptop! That means I am watching a ton and a half of YouTube videos. Like anyone thinks that is a good enough reason for me to watch hours of YouTube!!!

But glintzy, or Aimee, is another one of those gurus that I like to watch. Aimee does lots of makeup videos. And she has recently started fashion of the day videos. My favorites are her thrift shopping hauls. But Aimee also hosts lots of contests! She is now hosting a big Sigma Brush giveaway! There are 7 big prizes...

I have seen, I don't know how many videos on Sigma brushes. I can't lie, I want some! Real bad!!! But you know, bills get in the way. I have these brushes on my wishlist though! I wish I could enter for the entire set. But you know, I don't make videos. But I am going to enter for set #3. I think I would get the best use out of those. Maybe I can buy a couple of the face brushes later.

I have found another YouTuber that I really enjoy, xxglamxglamxx, or Kristin. She does makeup. Kristin is an army wife. Living in Germany. She is on twitter and MySpace. Has another YouTube channel for army wives, fiances, and girlfriends. Kristen is just one of the sweetest people. Here is one of her makeup videos...

I just enjoy watching Kristen's videos. She is a real woman. Her husband is getting ready to deploy. So if you are a YouTuber, go give her some love! She is super talented and super sweet! Her channel is just a really nice one to be subscribed to. ~Tabi

Wen Hair Care System

You have to have seen the infomercial for the Wen Hair Care System. The one that has Jennie Garth and Melissa Gilbert. The shampoo that doesn't suds up. But cleans your hair gently!

I have wanted to try this for a while. It looks like a good idea. But I don't know. Not too bad in price. You get 5 products for $30. I went to their website. And it doesn't look that bad. I have probably seen the infomercial 100 times. And I just want to try it.

Have you tried it? I think I will finally order it next payday. I want to see how a shampoo works without suds. And how I don't need a conditioner with this stuff! ~Tabi

Fair Day

I had a blast this weekend! It was just one of those really good weekends! Yesterday, the girls and I went to the State Fair. It felt like when we were in high school and would have a "Fair Day!" Do you remember those? You would eat, ride all the rides, and come home with those silly roses in a million different colors!

Other than that rude lady at the "My Mineral Glow" booth, we had a blast! Ya, seriously, if you are trying to sell makeup like that, and build your business, have a better attitude. There were 8-10 of us wanting to buy some eyeshadows. And that woman gave us such an attitude. None of us bought anything. I can't believe she would rather talk to some young tweens, maybe 13 yrs old, than to sell us products!!! I checked out their website. And I thought about placing an order today. Because I really wanted to try their products. But why should I give them business after they treated us with such attitude and disrespect!!!

Wow, that felt good to get that off my chest! But the girls and I really did have a good time. We eat so much food. I can't believe it! We got to the fair when it opened. We had breakfast burritos. And walked around the exhibits. Trying everything out. We got antelope antlers at the wilderness place, and talked politics with these nice old ladies from the GOP. Every time we saw food, we had to eat! It was almost ridiculous! But the food was so good that I couldn't resist!!!

After lunch, turkey legs and corn on the cob, we went to the kiddie section. Oh ya, we played with the animals. They had a petting zoo. Had so much fun! Then we played the games. They had an apple picking game. Annie and I tied for the win!!! And I bought a bunch of junk!!! You know the stuff you loved as a kid, Hello Kitty Stationary, boxes, and just girly stuff. We finished our craziness with the duck races. My duck ran the wrong way!!! We came in last.

We spent a good couple of hours shopping. That's when we ran into the ladies from "My Mineral Glow." I was so disappointed. But I bought other stuff. They had a stand with Avon and another with Mary Kay. So I got my makeup on!!! Came home with a big bag of makeup. I did buy a few pairs of earrings from various vendors, and a purse!!! I am so in love with it!!! Something that I would not normally buy, but LOVE!!!

For dinner, we went to the Spanish Village. Ate big Mexican plates and listened to good music. Annie and Mari went to the Indian Village and bought some fried bread. How about 10 of them??? We all shared it with a bunch of sweets from the Spanish Village. Things like mini eclairs, chocolate strawberries, and chocolate bananas!

When it got dark, we headed to the Midway. Baby, we rode just about every ride! Had so much fun! And a nice man won me a big bear. He was a nice guy. Just won me my bear and that was all we saw of him. What can I say??? I seem to have that effect on men!!! Before we left, near closing time, we stopped for berry sundaes. So delish!!! I am still dreaming of them!!! We honestly had a blast!!! I am so glad we all got to go together!!! ~Tabi

PMS-ing

I totally am!!! I can't lie. It's not a bad thing. Except I am eating everything under the damn sun and sky! Especially not good, because I work at the mall.

Today, I wore a dress. Good thing. Because the minute that Cinnabon opened, I was there!!! I had already been to Starbucks. I ate at Panda Express for lunch. A 3 item combo! With egg rolls on the side. And then had Dairy Queen!!! An Orange Julius and a chocolate dipped cone. The large one!!! OMG!!!

When I left work, I stopped by Walgreens and bought a crap load of candy! All chocolate of course! And 4 containers of Ben and Jerry's. My boyfriends!!! I also bought a large pizza, wings, and breadsticks from Pizza Hut.

Damn girl!!! I know!!! But I have been on this eating binge. I noticed over the summer that I am eating like this right before my period. Then I have no appetite during my period. What the hell is wrong with me??? I think it is because I am not working out as much as I used to! I haven't gained weight. But that's because I eat like a pig for a few days. Then I have no appetite for another week!

Ugh! I am so annoyed with myself! I am on the sugar highs and lows, crashing like a mad woman, and sleeping for hours. My sleep pattern is also all messed up too!!! And I'm addicted to YouTube videos! It's a good thing that I am drinking water. That's the only thing that I am doing right. I drink almost a gallon of water a day. The rest, I need to fix! ~Tabi

In case you are ever bored, I want you to know that there are great channels to watch on YouTube. Rockybabes, or Annie, is one of my favorites!!! Her channel has videos about her adventures in the UK, makeup, cooking, her husband Martyn, and their dog Rocky! Annie is just amazing!!! Here is one of her cooking videos...





Doesn't that look yummy??? And you say, Tabi how did you find her? Why do like watching Annie's videos? Well, a few years ago, I was performing almost every weekend with a group of friends. Lola was the singer, and there were 6 more of us that danced. We traveled all the time!!!

And Lola is a bit of an insomniac. She got hooked on watching YouTube videos. She especially liked watching some of the channels that had people with heavy accents. They seemed to help her sleep. Especially the Brits!!! She really liked some of these channels just because she liked them. And at night she would play their videos to get sleepy. That is how I found Rockybabes1234. One night Lola was watching a video of hers, and I got hooked!!!

But I like Annie because she is real. She not on overdone YouTube Guru. Being fake and trying to push the free product of the week. Instead, Annie is a real woman!!! She shares her life with us. I enjoy going on her little shopping trips, hearing about her life, seeing her home. I too, like her accent. And cute little Rocky!!! But Annie's channel is just one of those fun ones!!! ~Tabi

East Village

I know, that picture sucks!!! But this nail polish is my new favorite color!!! I went to pick up a prescription for my grandma earlier today. And while I waited, well I wondered over to the makeup aisle. Come on, like you don't do that at Walgreens too!

I saw the NYC-In a New York in a Minute nail polish. It is their fast drying formula. I think it is fairly new. There were a wide range of colors. Too bad that the colors I wanted, were not in stock! I really wanted this deep purple called Chinatown. Or the nudish pink called Mulberry Street. But they were not in stock.

Instead, I found East Village. A deep peacock color. A lot deeper than this picture from their website. But for under $2, it was a steal!!! I want to try more. It dried fast. And was a good formulation. You know, some drugstore nail polish has a weird texture. But I liked this one. 2 coats and I am dancing with happiness!!! I am already plotting a different route to work tomorrow just to go to a different Walgreens!!! ~Tabi

Girls' Night Out

My friends and I used to do this weekly. On Friday nights we would meet at Gardunos. Lola would be there to play in the mariachi. After she left the group, she would just meet us too! But we would all meet for Happy Hour. Honestly, most of us didn't drink. Or only had 1 margarita. But we would sit and talk. Of course we ate!!! We were at Gardunos! And we enjoyed the mariachi. Probably a little too much!!!

Especially so when that cutie worked there. I don't know his name. But damn, he was easy on the eyes. I think I just sounded like a guy there. :S But he was really good looking. With a cute booty!!! And he had the hots for Lola. Major H-O-T-S!!!

Once, we were all there, except Lola. But her parents were sitting at a table. He was just looking around for her. All of a sudden, in she came. After working at the hospital. Still in her scrubs, she trotted over to her parents' table. He could not take his eyes off of her. Was all fidgety. Totally reminded me of a 13 yr old boy who was in love with a high school cheerleader! Funny thing, she was a cheerleader in high school.

But he was always that way. Even at Charritos. But he never had the huevos to act on it. Poor guy!!! I don't even know what happened to him. And when Lola moved back, out of town, the rest of us still would go to Gardunos. We would take pictures of his butt and text them to Lols. Why I don't know! Because she never believed us in the first place! But he really did like her!!!

I got so off the subject there. But tonight we all met for dinner. It was just like the good old days. But our dear friend, Lola wasn't there. She is off working. Saving the country from Swine Flu!!! But a bunch of us went out. And we had so much fun!!! Ate way too much food!!! Finally we all caught up on each other's lives. Life is good!!! We just missed Lols and her, "Seriously? Seriously! SERIOUSLY!!!" We did miss that. And that cute mariachi guy and his butt!!!

Because in our group of friends, we have a slightly weird obsession with butts. And cute mariachis. And we all missed Lols to the ends of the earth! ~Tabi

Screwed Up Girl Math

Do you do girl math? I do! The kind were if you save $20 on clothes, then you can go and buy $20 worth of makeup. Because in your head, it works out. You haven't spent more than you planned to in the first place. Ya, I know that it sounds stupid. But that is "Girl Math."

I do it with food too. Like if I cook at home, I allow myself to eat more. Tacos for example. If I make them at home, I feel like they are healthier. Then I eat more. Because I allow myself the same number of calories. Are you following me??? Or have I completely lost you???

Girl math is plaguing my workout/eating situation though. It is the only place were it doesn't make complete sense. Even to me!!! I think it is becoming an issue. Like tonight. I had an intense 2 hr workout. The kind that leaves you weak and barely walking. I come home, take a shower, and get me some chocolate ice cream. Ya, a bowl with 2 scoops, whipped cream, and fresh strawberries. Because using "Girl Math" I worked out before. I had earned it.

It doesn't make sense to me either!!! It's just what I do. Sit in my pjs and eat ice cream, after I workout. I think I need some help. I need someone to tell me that my "Girl Math" is wrong. hehe ~Tabi
